Just wanted to encourage everyone to boycott Walmart on the Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving. According to the Amreican Family Association :
In a show of support to help homosexuals legalize same-sex marriage, Wal-Mart has agreed to automatically donate 5% of online sales directly to the Washington DC Community Center for Gay, Lesbian Bisexual and Transgender People. The cash donation will come from ALL online purchases made at Wal-Mart through the homosexual group's Web site. This move follows Wal-Mart's joining the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce and agreeing to give generous financial help to that group.

I was actually going to blog on something similar but haven't gotten around to it yet. We have finally decided to boycott Walmart permanently as they decided (just this year) to support Planned Parenthood.
I never really liked Walmart (I sure love Sam's though) because of its reputation but I always justified shopping at Sam's because, for a long while at least, WAlmart was the only grocery store chain that refused to sell the morning after pill.
Anyway, just my 2 cents
There may be a thousand reasons to boycott Walmart, but this isn't one of them. This is -or was- a non-issue.

Nevermind, just saw your blog and you answered it for me.
I signed this petition the other day. I'll refrain from shopping those days, but am still doing most of my Christmas shopping there with our employee discount. Hopefully it'll only be a short time until they're no longer our source of income! But really I've been overwhelmed by the list of companies to boycott (w/ both abortion and homosexual issues), so it's one of those many little battles and you have to decide if they're worth fighting.
