Veronica: 1 Month Old

Well, a month has gone by and Veronica is now one month old. She has turned out to be a beautiful nurser. Last weekend I was ready to quit but I've healed up nicely and she is doing beautifully. In fact, she is almost 1 pound over her birth weight!! YEAH!!

Here is my wide-eyed Veronica with her handsome daddy on Thanksgiving Day (her real one month birthday):

And, here she is (falling asleep) with me right before this morning's mass:

She is beautiful! And I'm real glad the nursing improvements are permanent and lasting - Yeah!

She has filled out nicely and you don't even look like you had a baby a month ago!

PRECIOUS!
I thought she was so cute in light colored clothing, but she looks even better in red! Ooooh, I just can't wait to squeeze her!

Does Veronica have her own stocking yet? Maybe you could send me a jpeg of her IN a big red stocking. I always thought those are such cute pictures but none of my kids were born close enough to December for me to stage that. :)

Happy Advent to all the Smiths!
Love, Bev

Oh, we're going to attempt some of the Tomie dePaola unit study thanks to your encouragement. We've had several of the books for years so it's time to do the extension activities!

Amazing that she's already a month old! I know its probably felt like longer to you, the uber mother, but for me it seems like yesterday that she was born! Oh, she is cute as a button. Her little face is just gorgeous!

I second Brenda - I can't believe you had a baby a month ago - I should look half that good at my best, and I've not had any!!!

She's perfectly beautiful. Congratulations.
