Well, I discovered yesterday morning that my washing machine will not load water. It will rinse but not wash!! Of course it was probably broken all weekend but being the slothful mom that I am, I didn't discover it until yesterday. And of course I have a house full of dirty laundry. And Craig is leaving in a few hours for Boston and doesn't return until Friday!! And when I looked up our washing machine on the internet for problem shooting, I discovered there was a class action law suit and our model would have qualified for a reimbursement ($500) HAD WE FILED A YEAR AGO!! I didn't even know about it!! But I have known there was something wrong with it for years now. Its the Maytag Neptune Front Loader.
UUGGGGHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (I'm screaming right now in Texas!!!!!)
Now to go be patient with the kids (who have created the piles of dirty laundry) and my hubby (who helped create those kids and is leaving for Boston which is soooooo darn beautiful this time of year!!!)

Oh my! That's horrid! A front loader...man and I've been coveting one of those for a while.
Our top loader, repair a couple years ago, has been going out of balance again lately...but we're going to ride it out till it's a bust. And I've got my emergency/ new washer money just waiting...I'd planned on getting a front loader, but now you've got me worried.
Just breath, it will be okay...and go use the family's machine.

I've read the newer ones are much better. We've had ours for 7 years and this is the 1st time this has happened. I will say that the clothes come out very white and clean .... when the washer is working!!
Oh Lillian, yikes! What a mess. Our Frigidaire is 7 years old, has put in years doing cloth diapers in addition to our regular laundry, and is still chugging along. I *wanted* the Maytag back then but we couldn't afford it. I'm so glad now, so many people have complained about the Neptunes.
