I've missed you all!! I intend to post an Easter picture soon but I wanted to share some good news regarding the fight for the life of the unborn. Here in San Antonio I'm involved with a coalition that peacefully prays outside a local "clinic" that weekly ends the life of innocents.
I was so excited to recieve an email which contained the following:
"Because of the direct efforts of the San Antonio Coalition for Life with the assistance of the Texas Alliance for Life, 4 unlicensed Plann*d Parentho*d clinics that were performing medical abortions have been served cease and desist orders! Not only this, but the Plann*d Parentho*d on Babcock Rd is now be scrutinized for additional violations!
A little while ago the San Antonio Coalition for Life discovered that there were 4 clinics performing medical abortions in San Antonio without an abortion license. We continued our investigation, and when we had enough information, we turned it over to the Texas Alliance for Life which has strong connections with the Texas Legislature. After continued investigation, at a press conference today, the Texas Alliance for Life announced that there will be an effort to de fund Plann*d Parentho*d in the state of Texas!
Because of the discovery by the San Antonio Coalition for Life 4 Plann*d Parentho*d's will not be performing abortions and countless children will be saved!
Contact your Texas Legislature Senators and Representatives and tell them to de fund Plann*d Parentho*d! Next Tuesday they will begin debate on this issue and your voice from San Antonio, the melting pot of where this started, is the key!"
How exciting!! To read more about this, here are some links to different newspaper accounts!! Also, other facilities in Texas have been found to be operating without a license. Can you imagine!?! I pray that all funding to this organization ceases!!

That's wonderful! It's horrible that clinics that aren't even liscenced are still in operation...but wonderful someone has sniffed them out and gotten it noticed.

I am writing in regards to the issue of defunding Planned Parenthood which will be up for debate. I urge you to vote for ending state funding to this organization. The recent discovery of 4 San Antonio Planned Parenthood facilities performing unlicensed abortions is appalling. I understand that these facilities have been ordered to cease and desist, but they can not be allowed to show blatant disregard for the law and the purposes for which they are receiving these funds. If they have been illegally performing abortions at these locations, what faith can we have that other laws have not been broken or ignored elsewhere within the organization? From my understanding the funds received by Planned Parenthood from the state of Texas may not be used for abortions, however the fact that Planned Parenthood is such an advocate for the "choice" of ending a human life, means that by giving any funds to Planned Parenthood the state of Texas is contributing to and supporting the advocacy of abortions. This is immoral and something the state should absolutely not be involved with. We need to put our foot down and stand by our morals and let this corrupt organization know that the people of Texas will not stand for their money to be used illegally, and to kill innocent lives. Please vote to end state funding for the organization Planned Parenthood.
