Movie of the Week: Expelled

Craig and I rarely go to the movies. But we have been known to make exceptions. This past Saturday we went and saw Expelled. It was great!! The sad part was that there were only 4 people in the theater. And we made up half of that "crowd." The people who need to see this movie might not ever see it. I plan to buy this movie and use it for upper grade science!!

This movie makes a case for Intelligent Design rather than Darwinism. Very scientific. Craig couldn't help but talk during the ENTIRE movie (remember he's a man of few words). Very scientific. He was impressed with the protein images (remember, he was a protein crystallographer in grad school ...... he talked during that entire segment!!!) Will lead to great discussion for a few hours with spouse!!

Hey Lillian, I'm glad you went to see it. I checked out the website for almost an hour one night after a friend sent me the link. And your are right, the poeple who need to see it, won't!

I saw the director's cut a few months ago and was very impressed. I'm anxious to find a time to see the released movie. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'd love for it to get a wider audience. The connections they make between Darwin, Margaret Sanger, Planned Parenthood, and Nazi Germany are pretty scary!
