This is how my back trunk has looked for the past 2 months!! The box underneath the stroller was picked up from Blair's garage over 2 months ago!!
This is what was hidden underneath that big box. I found almost an entire new package of diapers!!
This is the view in front of the middle bench. Diaper bags, bottled water, notepad, toothbrush, etc.
This is what was behind Catherine!! That battery charger has been in the van forever!! My battery used to go out all the time. I even got over my fear of jumping the battery. Well, let's just say Craig replaced my battery over a month ago and I was still driving this thing around!!!
The pics above and below show all the junk underneath the two back benches: towels, shoe boxes, and PAPER!!! We've killed more trees than any family I know (except Michelle's!! Her Jack draws on more paper! LOL!) And we're not even good drawers!!

Note: I still need to take the van to a car wash to use their super-duper vacuums. My little hand held was not up to the job. Also need to remove some chocolate stains from the carpet!! Why do we give the kids chocolate in the car???

I can see underneath the benches!! YEAH! I still need to put the tire pump and cable underneath the rug but I don't know how to get to the hidden compartment.
Back trunk
I actually went grocery shopping later that evening and was so happy to be able to fit my groceries in the back. And no apologizing to the teenager who loaded my groceries too!! LOL!
I used to wait around, hoping Craig would clean my car. As if he didn't have enough to do. But it finally dawned on me that I have two arms. Actually, I have TEN ARMS!! Isabelle, Anna, Sophia and Kolbe helped out too!! And it really made them realize how much junk they bring into the van. Yesterday, Isabelle forbade the little ones from bringing in their papers and toys!! And Anna actually remembered to take her swimming towel inside! YEAH!! The van will stay like this .. UNTIL our next long trip. Long trips seem to undo us! Maybe our next trip will be different!?!
Estimated Clean up Time? 20 minutes! That's it! 20 MINUTES!!
Go clean out your van if it needs it. You'll feel so much better (and less embarrassed!)

Woohoo! Way to go, Lillian! Can't wait till I have 10 arms to help! It took me about an hour, but I also used my parents' shop-vac which took awhile.
Well..... what can I say.... I feel sooooooooooooooooooo much better................

oh, and I am feeling a wee bit more courageous about posting pics of my "do not enter" zones.
Of course, moving into a new house has become a bit of a magic pill for me. I keep thinking... but I won't have any zones like this in the new house. I am sure I will keep it perfectly clean. Give me a month or so to settle in my clutter and maybe I will post some truly scary pics!
My first reaction to this is: Where did you get all those photos of my van???
