Feeding Frenzy

The big day finally arrived ...... for the older kids that is! Isabelle, Anna, Sophia and Kolbe have been anticipating Catherine's first feeding since the day she was born. For six months they've been deprived of giving her a bottle, a pacifier or any kind of food/drink. So when I pulled out the high chair last week they were VERY excited. They all wanted a chance to feed her and lucky for them Catherine tolerated it. She didn't much care for the food but she gave everyone lots of smiles!! I love how they love each other!!

Bluebonnets

Every year we take pictures of the children in Bluebonnets. These are our favorite pictures!!! Every year we drive back to the same Texas hillside! We've been taking these pictures since Isabelle was four. Its beautiful to see other families following this same tradition. You can even tell how recently another family has visited the same spot by the flattened circle among the flowers. We're always careful to follow the already-made paths among the bluebonnets so as not to ruin them for future visitors.

Law Breaker

We once told Isabelle and Anna that it was illegal to pick Bluebonnets since they were the state flower. We really thought this was so at the time. Well, they haven't forgotten. You can imagine the screaming that ensued when Catherine decided to break the law!

Catherine's Toes

This is our precious Catherine! She is growing up sooo fast. Catherine can now sit up, roll over and play with her chubby feet. Lots of chores get delayed (or forgotten) because of Catherine! We wish we could just keep her as a baby forever. But since we can't we'll have to cherish all the memories we make.
